bgnpcgn-ukr-Cyrl-Latn-1965 The BGN/PCGN system for Ukrainian was designed for use in romanizing names written in the Ukrainian alphabet. The Ukrainian alphabet contains five characters not present in the Russian alphabet: ґ, є, і, ї, and ’.
